Zotero Standalone Alpha

Reading time: < 1 minutes

In the fairly short time since the initial notice, the alpha version of a browser-independent Zotero has now become available. A fully stable release is likely some time away yet, but the noticeable and rapid progress on the initiative is encouraging.

        1. I didn’t think so, but the latest update actually came through on December 1. This update at least reenabled use of the “ibid” notation for the SBL style. I don’t recall what they were, but the style had some other updates around the same time as “ibid” got dissabled. So, I hadn’t upgraded yet, but I certainly will now. . . . very nice timing since I’m planning to push “go” on the dissertation bibliography later this week. 🙂

    1. You’re quite welcome. I’ll be waiting to try it until the stable version comes out (dissertation bibliography hanging in the balance and all), but it’s nice to see that better interoperability—particularly with Google Chrome is close(r) at hand. 🙂
